This is obviously on overdue post. For the past few days I did try to start a post but ended up nowhere. It's either I lost the motivation or got interrupted by the sudden shutdown of my internet connection. It's hard to wrestle and get frustrated while my level of energy was in near danger due to lack of sleep. But hey last night turned out pretty great. I almost finished the whole bottle of wine while weeping over the season finale of Glee. Yeah right, I am getting irritatingly glee-ky. But surely the show really made me laugh so hard and cry a little which pretty much made my day rather than jumping off the building out of boredom. I wish for Ramadan to be over soon and for the weather to stop getting worse. I am definitely longing for the moment to finally step outside and breathe some fresh air.
While Manila is getting bombarded by strong wind and endless amount of rain, I can't stop wishing to actually be there. I can't stop praying as well since other parts of the metro are suffering from flood and lack of electricity. I miss those times where there's nowhere else to go but home. I miss my mom cooking hot dishes to keep us warm while I play with the shadows dancing on the walls with our candle lights flickering. I still remember those scary nights when I couldn't sleep because of ghost stories we shared under our tents made of blankets. I sleep under my covers with my flashlight on.
I am going somewhere tonight. I have to google first about weather in that place. Again, it used to be a dream to actually be there. If mom is still alive I know she will be as thrilled as I am. I know how much she loved Korean-series dubbed in Tagalog just as much as she wants to try kimchi.
